About Billy & Jack
Described by Time Out as, “two boys famous for being semi-fit and losing Masterchef in 2016”, we at Red Monkey Collective believe the boys are far more than this.
Billy and Jack first met on the set of the 2016 instalment of MasterChef, in which the boys went on to finish as the two losing finalists. Shortly after MasterChef 2016, Billy and Jack decided that neither was ready to hang up their aprons just yet, and so quit their jobs as a residential property surveyor and a marketing consultant, respectively, to become full time chefs.
Since then, and largely thanks to their playful take on food and their inventive recipes, Billy and Jack have earned a significant social media following. They have also hosted, and sold out, many a supper club, as well as partnering with a number of different brands, including Curry’s PC World, Bosch, Magimix, Idahoan and Silent Pool Gin – among others.
Billy and Jack’s Silent Pool Gin Supper Club, hosted by Billy and Jack at The Southbank Centre in London, saw the boys create two bespoke tasting menus which were served throughout the month of August 2017. Pairing the boys’ food with drinks from the Surrey based Silent Pool Distillery, the supper club went on to serve more covers than any other supper club in London.
