Danny is an award winning author, journalist, athlete and has been voted by the City of London to be one of the 50 most inspirational people in London, and the 100 happiest people in the UK according to the Independent on Sunday.
Danny cycled 9000 miles from London to India and then continued his journey to America, inspired to help the community after the Boston Marathon bombings. He and other runners broke down a 3,000 mile journey across the United States from LA to Boston, into 10 mile segments and asked the running community to sign up to run a leg. Thousands of people signed up, raising $600,000 for charity in the process. returning to London and founding Project Awesome in 2014, bringing loud, colourful and free workouts to the London community, this year Danny presents the I Move London Relay.
The I Move London Relay is a 4,000 mile, world record breaking, continuous, running relay around London. Amongst others, Asics, GLA and Virgin Sport are all partnering with us to deliver this fantastic project. Its aim is to unite London's postcodes and help break down social issues such as gang culture, homelessness and mental health. IMLR is raising money for the Running Charity, Sported and Laureus Sport for Good who are all running incredible projects in London.
