As one Britain’s leading fisherwomen, Marina Gibson has travelled far and wide in pursuit of some of the world’s most exotic fish. From the Scottish Highlands to the shores of Christmas Island in Indonesia, fishing has taken Marina on an incredible journey; and one that is by no means finished.
Following in the footsteps of her mother, also a talented fly fisher, Marina spent her childhood years chasing salmon, trout and sea trout in lakes across the country. Her love for fishing now is as strong as it was then and alongside her own angling Marina is also an ambassador for the prestigious Orvis fishing company and is a 1st4sport Level 2 fishing instructor. Whilst her first love has always been angling, Marina doesn't only spend her time in the water; she has devoted much of her life to country pursuits - whether this be shooting, hunting or fishing.
After leaving London in February 2017, Marina is also now a freelance writer for fishing and hunting magazines including Fieldsports and The Field, hosts fishing and corporate days worldwide and is a social media consultant for The London Fly Fishing Fair.
