Hackney-born Viddal Riley has certainly come a long way since he first made his name on the international scene at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. He currently holds an amateur record of 41-8 (19 KO’s) competing for West Ham ABC, winning an English championship five times and GB three times from 2010-2017.
Outside of national championships, Viddal became well-known for training YouTube star KSI – who has over 19 million subscribers. During a trip to Vegas with KSI, Viddal got the opportunity to sign a deal with Jeff Mayweather and Amer Abdallah after an impressive display in sparring. The 22-year-old admitted turning professional was an unexpected opportunity. He initially planned on doing the ABA’s in order to earn a spot in 2020 Olympic team.
Between professional boxing and personal training, Viddal has also built a large following on social media, launched his own fitness apparel brand called Official RIL Athletics, been featured in massive YouTube videos and soon to star in the documentary KSI: Can’t lose.
